Concessionary Purchase & Gifted Equity Disclaimer:

 

Tenant Mortgages will specialise in 'Concessionary Purchases' where a landlord sells to a sitting tenant at a discount to market value.

We are currently in the process of gaining Approved Representative (AR) status from an FCA Registered Firm to promote this service. Suitable tenants will be able to apply once AR authorisation is received.

We do not currently offer mortgage advice.

Note:  Eligibility is subject to the landlord providing a minimum of 10% gifted equity (discount from an independent market value of the property). The valuation must be genuine and not an inflated price.

​​

Discounts of less than 10% may still be considered as part of a deposit but the balance may need to be funded by the tenant.

​

The discount must be a non-repayable gift with no retained interest in the property by the landlord.

​

Tenant Eligibility:  Applicants will require a verifiable income to meet standard affordability criteria and lending will be subject to credit status.

​

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.​​
